the transition from kid to teen to young adult is an universal experience that reflects the growing pains of finding oneself and being confident. fanta encourages expressing who you are and living your truth. the campaign flips the saying “it’s just a phase,” as it relates to acceptance and identity, to directly challenge the idea that fanta is a kids’ drink — a “phase” they will grow out of. it focuses on the pop culture imagery of ‘the teen experience,’ and pushes back against contrasting older norms and embracing childlike wonder in adulthood.
